U.S. stocks were mostly trading lower on Wednesday as Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell reiterated the central bank is likely to raise interest rates twice more this year and after a report saying the Biden administration is considering new restrictions on exports of artificial-intelligence-related products to China which hit technology stocks.
